To enable us to make the new temporary sewer pipeline along the Geelong Road median strip operational, we need to undertake night works at multiple work sites on Geelong Road and at the Memorial Lane pump station, Barwon Heads.

Geelong Road

From 11pm Tuesday 27 August to late evening Wednesday 28 August, there will be increased trucks and multiple work sites on Geelong Road, Barwon Heads.

Work sites: The entrance to the Geelong Road slip lane, locations in the Village Park and 1941-1949 Barwon Heads Rd. See the map below for the locations.

Please note, if any unforeseen issues occur, works may need to continue overnight on Wednesday 28 August.

What to expect during the works:

• There will be noise from trucks and equipment on site and along Geelong Road. We will try to keep it to a minimum.
• You may notice some odour at certain times throughout the works. This odour is not harmful to people or pets.
• Temporary fencing and traffic management will be in place to ensure public and worker safety during the works.

Memorial Lane pump station

On Wednesday 28 August 2024 from 5am to the late evening, there will be works at the pump station on Memorial Lane, Barwon Heads. See the map below for the location.

Please note, if any unforeseen issues occur, works may need to continue overnight on Wednesday 28 August 2024.

What to expect during the works:

• There will be noise from trucks and equipment on site. We will try to keep it to a minimum.
• You may notice some odour at certain times throughout the works. This odour is not harmful to people or pets.

Access to private properties for residents and emergency services will be maintained. If we need to temporarily restrict vehicle access to driveways during the works, we’ll door knock and let you know.

There will not be any disruption to your water or sewerage services as part of these works.
