We need to undertake temporary night works to relocate the temporary sewerage pipeline from the Village Park to the Geelong Road median strip (refer to map below).

Night works (7 pm to 7 am) will take place from Sunday 11 to Thursday 15 August 2024. The temporary pipeline is expected to be in place until works are completed in late-2024.

What to expect during the night works:

• There will be partial lane closure along Geelong Road between Sheepwash Road and the end of the Geelong Road service lane.
• Geelong Road service lane access will be altered during night works. Access will be maintained via one of the two Geelong Road access points.
• There will be noise from trucks and equipment along Geelong Road. We will try to keep it to a minimum.
• You may notice increased light along Geelong Road.
• Some trees along the Geelong Road median strip will be trimmed.
• Temporary fencing and traffic management will be in place to ensure public and worker safety during the works.
• Access to private properties for residents and emergency services will be maintained. If we need to temporarily restrict vehicle access to driveways during the works, we’ll doorknock and let you know.

What to expect while the temporary sewer pipeline is in place until late-2024:

• The Cottesloe Drive/Barwon Heads Road bus stop will be closed.
• Geelong Road between Sheepwash Road and the Barwon Heads pump station (1939 Barwon Heads Road) will be 40km per hour.
