To safely remove the existing sewer pipeline and replace it with the new pipeline under the Geelong Road service lane, there will be a rolling road closure along the Geelong Road service lane from Monday 23 September for approximately 4 weeks.

What to expect during the works and rolling road closure:

• The work area and rolling road closure will start near Sheepwash Road and move west along the Geelong Road service lane towards the Barwon Heads Community Arts Garden.
• Altered traffic conditions will be in place for the duration of the works and closure.
• Traffic controllers will be on site to assist you, and Variable Message Signs (VMS) will be in place to provide prior notice of traffic impacts.
• Geelong Road service lane residents: To enable you to use your vehicle(s), please park any vehicle(s) in your driveway or not in the service lane before 7am Monday 23 September.
• Access to private properties for residents and emergency services will be maintained. If we need to temporarily restrict vehicle access to driveways during the works, we’ll door knock and let you know.
• There will be noise from trucks and equipment on site along the Geelong Road service lane. We will try to keep it to a minimum.
