Pipeline investigations commencing

11 February 2025

As part of planning for a new pipeline into the existing network, we’ll be commencing site investigations in late February including cultural heritage and flora and fauna assessments, service proving, geotechnical and land surveys. See the map below for the areas of investigation.

There’ll be some changes to traffic conditions, including speed reduction zones along Coatsworth Road, Scotchmans Road, Panaroma Court and High Ridge Drive.

As part of the investigations, please note there will be increased noise and vibrations. We’ll aim to minimise impacts to nearby residents and businesses.

Most of the investigations will take place within the road reserve. We’ll be in contact with property owners whose land we will need to access (these property owners are aware of the works).

There’ll be no interruptions to water or sewerage services as part of the investigations.

We’ll keep local residents and businesses informed throughout the project including when construction is scheduled to commence.

The project is supported by funding from the Australian and Victorian governments, delivered in partnership with Barwon Water.
