As part of the pressure sustaining valve (PSV) near the existing Barwon Water pump station in Beacon Point Reserve, Clifton Springs, we need to install a temporary sewerage pipeline known as a bypass. The bypass will be installed on Friday 15 May to be used from 9 am Monday 1 June to 5 pm Friday 5 June 2026.

As part of this work, please note:

• There’ll be a road closure impacting access to the Beacon Point carpark between 9 am and 3 pm on Thursday 15 May. See the first map below for the location of this road closure.
• While the bypass is in use between 9 am Monday 5 June and 5 pm Friday 5 June 2026, pumps connected to the bypass will be turning on and off to help continue the flow of sewage. See the second map below for the location of these bypass pumps.
• There will be increased noise from the onsite equipment and bypass pumps. We apologise for this disruption, and the crew will minimise noise where they can.

Outside of these dates, please note:

• Work will continue to take place Monday to Friday, between 7 am and 6 pm. If Saturday work is required, this will take place between 7 am and 3 pm.

• There may be increased noise and dust. We’re aiming to minimise impacts to local residents.
• There are some changes to traffic conditions including reduced speed limits. Traffic management is present on site to ensure the safe and efficient movement of pedestrians and vehicles.

We’ll reinstate the area upon completion of works and there’ll be no interruptions to your water and sewerage services as part of these works.
