Through the upgrade to Bellbrae Primary School we heard of some community interest in connecting the broader town to Barwon Water’s main water supply and sewerage network.

To better understand the level of community interest we hosted a community drop-in session on 28 April 2021, to share information and answer questions on what might be involved in facilitating future connections for homes and businesses. At this session we provided preliminary costs for property owners to fund a whole of town scheme.

Thank you to everyone who participated in conversations on this topic. Around 40 people attended the session.

A feedback form was available at the information session and via our Your Say website. The purpose of the feedback form was to help us understand the level of interest in a future potential water and / or sewerage scheme for the Bellbrae township. We received a total of 18 feedback forms.
