As you may be aware, Barwon Water has reached a significant milestone in the upgrade of Birregurra's water infrastructure with the completion of a 19-kilometre underground pipeline connecting the town to Colac's water supply.

Testing and commissioning of the new infrastructure in Birregurra will be undertaken during the months of October and November, and this may affect your water pressure. The water pressure changes will only be temporary while we undertake these works.

When this testing happens, a reduction in water pressure may be noticeable at your property. However, most residents and businesses are not likely to notice any difference. Services will not be interrupted.

Properties with fire services are advised to check whether the pressure reduction will have any impact on the compliance of their fire suppression systems.
