About the project
The City of Greater Geelong’s Framework Plan for the Growth Areas North and West of Geelong indicates that the Creamery Road precinct is a short-term precinct in the north-eastern portion of the Western Geelong Growth Area.
The City of Greater Geelong has recently adopted the draft Creamery Road Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) and Development Contributions Plan (DCP).
The broader community will have the opportunity to review and provide comment on the draft PSP and DCP during the City of Greater Geelong’s public exhibition process.
What to expect
Barwon Water is planning for future services in the northern suburbs of Geelong.
As part of planning for these works, we began site investigations along Avonlea Road and Bluestone Bridge Road, Bell Post Hill from May 2025.
Site investigations include cultural heritage, flora and fauna assessments, service proving, geotechnical and land surveys.
Please note:
- Investigations will take place Monday to Friday, between 7am and 6pm.
- There may be changes to traffic conditions, including speed reduction zones and partial lane closures. Traffic management will be present to ensure safe and efficient movement of pedestrians and vehicles.
- There may be increased noise and dust. We will aim to minimise these impacts by following strict project controls and complying with relevant environmental legislation and guidelines.
- Access to private property for residents and emergency services will be maintained at all times.
- There will be no interruptions to local water or sewerage services.
