In addition to the insights we will learn from our community survey, our Customer and Environmental Advisory Committees came together for a joint workshop this month to explore regional prosperity and long-term planning for Barwon Water.

It was an interactive session with members working together to respond to questions such as: ‘What does a prosperous 2040 look like?’ and ‘What role do you think Barwon Water should play in helping to achieve regional prosperity?’

We also sought input on our future approach to water restrictions as part of our next Urban Water Strategy. Thank you to our committee members for sharing your valuable feedback with us.

The committees are made up of community members from across our region with a variety of backgrounds, age and experiences. They help us by sharing valuable feedback, insights into customer and community views and advice on environmental and sustainability issues.
