Barwon Water is replacing water mains to ensure we can continue to provide reliable and high-quality water services for our customers.
Water Main renewals program explained
To ensure we can continue to provide reliable and high-quality water services for our customers, aged and damaged water pipelines are periodically replaced to reduce the risks of bursts, minimise unexpected repairs and reduce supply interruptions.
Barwon Water identifies water mains at risk of failure due to age and poor condition. This information is provided to Abergeldie our contractor who then work to upgrade the pipes.
Locations
You’ll find our crews of contractors performing these proactive works across sites in Geelong, the Surf Coast, the Bellarine, Colac and surrounding areas.
As we move to each location, nearby residents and businesses will be notified by our contractors.
