As part of these works, please note:

• A temporary site office will be established near the intersection of Parkes Lodge Rd, Link Track and Pipeline Road. There may be speed reduction zones established and traffic management present on site to ensure safe and efficient movement of vehicles.
• We will install temporary fencing around the work sites to ensure public safety during construction.
• Although we have sought to avoid and minimise tree removal as much as possible, there will be some tree removal required to allow safe construction of the pipeline. An arborist will be on site during works to minimise tree loss as much as possible.
• A qualified ecologist will be on site during construction and will conduct pre-clearance checks on vegetation that is to be removed to minimise impact to fauna species.
• Barwon Water has obtained all statutory approvals required for the project and engaged with authorities including the Federal Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Water (DCCEEW), State Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA), Parks Victoria and Colac Otway Shire throughout these approval processes.
• During construction there may be increased noise and dust. We will aim to minimise impacts to local residents.
• There will be altered traffic conditions during works, Barwon Water encourages the local community to allow extra time to complete journeys safely.
• Access to private property for local residents and emergency services will be maintained at all times.
• We will reinstate the area upon completion of works, ensuring work areas are left in good condition.
• Some properties may be without water supply at certain times during the works. If this impacts your property, you will be notified by mail.
