Barwon Water is upgrading the sewer network in Elliminyt through the installation of a new sewer pipe from Tulloh Street to Pound Road. This critical infrastructure project will enhance sewer services for the growing community and support future development in the region.

As part of this planning phase, we will be locating assets by non-destructive digging (NDD) across various locations along the proposed alignment. This will help inform the detailed design of the new sewer main.

Work will be conducted between 25 August 2025 – 25 September 2025 between 8:00am and 3:00 pm.

Construction work on the sewer main is currently scheduled to commence in early - mid 2026. We’ll keep local residents and businesses informed as the project planning progresses.

As part of these works, please note:

• Work will take place within the road reserve and public spaces.
• Access to private property for local residents and emergency services will be maintained at all times.
• Traffic management will be present to ensure safe and efficient movement of pedestrians and vehicles.
• There may be some temporary loss of parking spots along Tulloh Street, Ballagh Street, Main Street & Armstrong Street during the work. We’re sorry for this inconvenience.
• During the investigations there may be increased noise and dust. We will aim to minimise impacts to local residents.
• We will reinstate the area upon completion of investigations, ensuring footpaths and roads are left in good condition.
• There is potential for work dates to be postponed due to wet weather or unforeseen circumstances.

There will be no planned interruptions to water or sewerage services during the work.
