Barwon Water is replacing a water main in Cedar Grove to ensure we can continue to provide reliable and high-quality water services for our customers. These essential works are part of our ongoing asset renewal program. Replacing aged and damaged water pipelines helps reduce the risk of bursts, minimise unexpected repairs, and maintain a reliable supply for the community.

The works will commence on Monday 17 November to 19 December. Works will be between 7.30 am and 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday.

What to expect during work:

• Cedar Grove will be closed for general traffic, localised access with be maintained. Traffic management will be onsite daily to safely guide local traffic.
• For the duration of these works, you will be placed on a temporary water supply. You may notice a decrease in water pressure during peak times throughout this work.
• A shielded Pipeline will be run temporarily along either side of Cedar Grove, this pipeline will cross over driveway entries, however this can be driven over and will not disrupt access to property. This pipeline is necessary to provide your properties with water.
• There may be increased noise from trucks and crew. We will aim to minimise noise wherever possible.
• An increase in lighting from trucks and site lights around the work area.
• Access to your property will be maintained at all times. If access to your property is required, you will be contacted directly.
• The nature strip and surrounding areas may be affected by construction works, including open excavations.
• We will reinstate the area upon completion of works, ensuring roads, footpaths, and nature strips are left in good condition.
