Barwon Water is upgrading the water supply network with the installation of a new water pipeline within the McKellar Centre at 45-95 Ballarat Road, North Geelong. These important upgrades will ensure Barwon Water can continue to provide high quality and reliable services to our customers.

Construction works at this site are scheduled to take place from Monday 28 April until Tuesday 10 June. Works will take place Monday to Friday, between 7 am and 6 pm.

As part of these works, please note:

• Part of these works will take place within the road reserve. We will install temporary fencing around the work site to ensure public safety during construction.
• Partial lane closures on the north-east side of Ballarat Road, between Calvert Street and MacArthur Avenue, will be in place for two days during the first week of works. Speed reduction zones and traffic management will be in place to support this.
• There will be some temporary loss of parking along the north-east side of Ballarat Road during construction. We apologise for this inconvenience.
• During construction there may be increased noise and dust. We will aim to minimise impacts to local residents.
• Access to private property for local residents and emergency services will be maintained at all times.
• Properties with disruptions to their water service as part of these works will be contacted directly.
• We will reinstate the area upon completion of works, ensuring the impacted area is left in good condition.
