Barwon Water is upgrading the water supply network in Teesdale with the installation of a new water pipeline between Bakers Lane and Teesdale-Inverleigh Rd, Teesdale. This will ensure we can continue to supply high quality, reliable drinking water services for our customers and cater for future growth.

We are finalising the commissioning stage of the project which involves the connection of existing pipelines in the network. These works are planned for the week commencing 22nd of September and will continue for approximately 1 week.

As part of this work, please note:

• There will be some changes to traffic conditions, including reduced speed limits on Bannockburn-Shelford Road, Teesdale.
• The walking track alongside Bannockburn-Shelford Road will also be impacted intermittently for the duration of the works.
• Traffic management will be present on site to ensure safe and efficient movement of pedestrians and vehicles.
• There may be increased noise and dust due to construction. We will work to minimise impacts to local residents.
• If your water supply is to be impacted for a short time, you will be contacted separately.
• We will reinstate the area upon completion of works, ensuring it is left in good condition.
• Access to driveways and private property will be maintained.
