Heathfield Court - Sewer Pump Station Access Improvement Works

28 October 2025

Barwon Water is renewing the access path along Heathfield Court, Newtown, as part of our ongoing maintenance and renewal program. These works will help to improve access and safety for Barwon Water staff at the Heathfield Sewer Pump Station.

Work is scheduled to commence on Monday 10 November and continue through to late February 2026. Crews will be on site between 7.30 am and 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday.

As part of this work, please note:

  • You may notice increased noise from trucks, and machinery. We will aim to minimise impacts wherever possible.
  • You may noticed increased dust during works, which will be managed by crews on site.
  • Please be aware of increased movement of heavy vehicles and machinery in the area.
  • Sections of the walking path along the Barwon River will be closed at times during construction. Alternative routes will be clearly signed to help you move safely around the area.
  • Access to private properties will be maintained for the duration of works. If access at your property is required, you will be contacted directly.
  • The area will be fully reinstated upon completion, ensuring paths and surroundings are left in good condition.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we complete these essential works to improve local infrastructure.
