Otways fires

We have recommissioned the Gellibrand Water Treatment Plant.

The plant is again operating after we carried out repairs to infrastructure that was damaged by bushfire on 27 January.

Connected customers will not see a change to their services.

Safe drinking water supplies were reinstated to Gellibrand on 4 February, thanks to water being carted to town.

Water carting has now ceased, and we have transitioned back to regular services.

Construction works on the site have restarted, with a new water storage tank expected to be completed later this year.

This tank forms part of the improvements being delivered via the Gellibrand Water Treatment Plant upgrade.
